So I drop by the Human Events webpage to see what's up and I look down at the bottom on the right. There is a section for bestselling books. The second book is about the FairTax. Where have I heard of that before? Oh yeah, Huck made it an integral part of his campaign platform -- tax relief for the country. Remember the response? I do. He was ridiculed, the plan was attacked by everyone, including columnists at Human Events. Now it's on their bestseller list. Wierd, huh?
Then this -- last week I caught part of Glenn Beck's show. Personally, I think he's an ass, but if he has someone interesting on, I'll tune in for a bit. But here's Glenn ranting about fuel prices and yelling at the camera "Where's our moonshot?" for gas prices. And going on about how we need to address energy independence immediately. Hmmm, I'm getting that deja vu feeling again. Oh yeah, it was Gov. Huckabee that kept saying he would push for energy independence in seven years. Gov. Huckabee saying we shouldn't be giving all our money to the Saudis so they can breed terrorists. And what was the response? Same as before, everyone ridiculed him. Called him naive and unrealistic.
I say, these idiots have the wrong Republican running for president. Way to go, knuckleheads!
